Cross Country Quilt

A few months ago, my handsome husband went on a hunting trip out to the wild west with one of his high school buddies. It was quite the trip - hubby, his friend Brian and Brian's two hunting dogs drove from Cincinnati to Patagonia, Arizona for a week of relaxing, hiking, and hunting for pheasant and quail.

I asked them if they would take my American Flag Doll Quilt with them and photograph it along their route.

And they did!

Isn't that funny?! That little quilt went back and forth across the country and now it's back on the wall...in its spot... over my sewing machine....privy to the conversations, stories and laughs of two dear friends.

  1. That's so fun! I love it!

You know what would be cool? To send it to various on-line friends around the country so they could take pictures of it and then send you the quilt back with the photos. ^^
