A-men. With a side of "if you don't like it, don't let the door hit you where the good Lord split you."
Great idea! Bye, gonna sew now...
SisterFriend, a huge amen from Chicago. Quilting is respecting the workmanship and taste of all from batiks to solids to Civil War repos, from wonky piecing to paper piecing, from large to small, from traditional to modern. Let's hear it for eyes that see things in a fresh way. Which is what my involvement with the Chicago Modern Quilt Guild represents. Did you see our latest blog entry?http://thechicagomodernquiltguild.blogspot.com/
Love it! I couldn't agree more!
Agreed! I refuse to participate.
And THATS the way I love to quilt!Squeezes and hugs!
Halleluja! A voice of reason!!
LMAO. I think I love you!
A great big AMEN! I've been following this ongoing blogosphere discussion and I totally agree that we need to stop trying to put ourselves in one category or another and just make the quilts that make us HAPPY! That's why I sew - to make me and only me happy! (climbing down off of my soapbox) Thanks for summing it up so perfectly - and back to my sewing machine.
