Flower Medallion Top - Done

Whew!
The orange fabric in the final border isn't perfect, but it'll do. The picture makes it look peachy, but it's really a very bright orange. I had a fabric in mind that I saw online that would have been perfect, but with the "no buy" policy on this project, I used what I had. It's still cute and sweet, just what I was going for. I'm thinking of a purple binding - I have a Waverly gingham that I've had for about a decade that I've wanted to use but never found the right project.

I plan on FMQing this baby. I have a few templates that I'd like to try as well as taking another stab at doing a little bit of stippling and loop-d-loops. I plan on quilting this pretty heavily - mainly to hide the crappy contruction.

This quilt measures 56" x 56". The next time I post a pic of this thing it will be quilted and bound! Hopefully that'll be soon...

Next project: all of my bee blocks have arrived, I can start putting that quilt together for my baby girl!
