Design Wall Monday

Oh, man. This is one special quilt, people.
Why?
1. Eleven of the fifteen blocks in this quilt are made by my One Block Over Bee ladies.
2. This quilt may be participating in a very special Cincy Modern Quilt Guild event in April.
3. Most importantly, this quilt is for my daughter.

The white background fabric is a 100% white linen. It was a little difficult to work with, but in the end I think it will make for a super-soft quilt. Right now it measures 47x66. The blue fabrics are mostly Jennifer Paganelli, with some Michael Miller thrown in. My daughter picked out the fabrics and the block design. Future quilter perhaps?

The tutorial for this block is here.

I may end up adding another border - I think it needs another layer for more interest. Will chew on this for a few days.

  2. I like it! Maybe add a solid blue border around the black?

  4. It's so great to see what you did with our blocks! I found mine - the one that I was sure you would reject! - in the bottom right. Thanks for including it. The quilt is pretty!
